This touristic destination attracts travelers from all over the world, it’s also well known as a party town, but if you are not looking for the party atmosphere, we’ll tell you which bars not to visit!

We have several surf spots inside Jaco and sorruonding areas for all types of surfing levels

Madrigales spot: located at the southern end of Jaco, is the best spot for beginners, the waves are nice and mellow and the ocean is warm and inviting!

The Copacabana / Bohio spot: Located right in the central down town area of Jaco, is the closest surf spot from anywhere in town. The waves are not as mellow as at Madrigales, but they are very consistent and have good shape. We would call it an intermidiate surf spot!

Hermosa Beach: This is where the PROS go! This spot has very powerful and tubular waves, which makes it super attractive for advance surfers. We just hosted the ISA World Surfing Games last August 2009. This surf break is known as a world famous surfing spot, and is located just 5 miles south of Jaco.
